Not having internet at home is the best thing that’s happened to me in a while. Obviously I still spend a fair amount of time on here because I’m a Tumblr junkie, but when I’m actually at home, I’m always reading, or more often creatively writing - my main passion in life which had been waning over the past year, sadly - or drawing, or listening to music, or most importantly, just spending time with people. I hang out with people more, I have political debates and intellectual discussions on a daily basis, I have become far more socially outgoing and accepting of new circumstances (this is mainly a result of living in a noisy share house where we have people over constantly), and I’m all-round more creative. I’m getting back into photography, which makes my heart sing more than I can even explain…
I’m basically just doing all the things I’ve done all my life, just more often and with more enjoyment. Feels good, man.
